The International Golden Gate Tournament became an integral part of the training tradition for all leading fencers from Ukraine, Europe and Asia. While just yesterday gaining their first victories at the Golden Gate Tournament, today they are champions and prize winners of Europe and the world. No matter what might happen to them in the future, but their first steps made here in the professional sport will be for sure engraved on their memory as the first remarkable professional achievements.

On the other hand, the Tournament takes a legitimate pride in all leading fencers who entered the big sport by making a good start at the Golden Gate Tournament. But, the contests giving birth to new names of champions and winners go on.

  • Іgor Reislin, the champion of the 1998 Golden Gate Tournament; the champion of 2001 Junior Europe, the bronze medallist of the 2000 World championship and the silver medallist of the 2003 European championship.
  • Tetyana Novakovs'ka, the champion of the 1999 Golden Gate Tournament; the twice champion of 2004 Junior Europe, the silver medallist of the 2005 World championship and the champion of the 2005 World Student Games.
  • Oleg Sokolov, the champion of the 2000 Golden Gate Tournament; the champion of the 2004 World Junior championship.
  • Darina Zharova (Moscow), the champion of the 2001 Golden Gate Tournament; the champion of 2003 World Cadets' championship.
  • Yana Shemyakina, the champion of the 2002 Golden Gate Tournament; the champion of 2002 World Cadets' championship, the champion of 2004 and 2005 Junior Europe and the champion of 2005 Europe.
  • Olga Sadorozhna, the champion of the 2003 Golden Gate Tournament; the silver medallist of the 2005 World championship.
  • Oleksandra Firsova, the bronze medalist of the 2006 Golden Gate Tournament, the silver medallist of the 2004 Golden Gate Tournament, the champion of 2004 European championship and the bronze medalist of the 2005 European championship.
  • Ye. Alimzhanov (Kazakhstan), the silver medalist of the 2005 Golden Gate Tournament and the silver medalist of the 2005 World Cadets' championship.
  • Katya Blokhina, the champion of the 2006 Golden Gate Tournament and the silver medallist of the 2006 World championship.
